Machine Gun Kelly

Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker in the United States, is an American artist known for his musical and unique style. MGK is most well-known for the rapid-fire lyrical style that gave him his stagename Machine Gun Kelly. He started his rap career in high school, and gained a local popular following through a variety of mixtapes. The debut album he made was the Seal of Approval Mixtape, which was released in the year 2006. The first mixtape MGK released was a huge success, and gave him the faith to go after a career in music. Through the years that followed there were four more mixtapes. The career of the artist exploded in 2011 after signing a contract to Bad Boy, as well as Interscope Records. The following year the album he released his debut Laces Up came out and was met with high praise from reviewers. The album was released at number 4 on the US Billboard 200 Chart, with popular songs such as Wild Boy (with Stereo), Invincible (with Stereo), and Hold On. General Admission, his second album that came out in October 2015, debuted as number four on Billboard 200. It also was ranked first in the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
