A successful career may hide the darkest of stories. Lolo Jones, the winner of both the USA championships and the World championships in the event of hurdles, has reached her current place with much effort as well as a lot of perseverance. Jones is a child born into a family of no mothers and had five children living suffering from poverty and hardships as a youngster, experienced an extremely difficult early life. Her mother lived on the street and was even living in the cellar of a local church at times. Jones her nomadic life led her to switch schools each year, until she reached she reached high school. Jones was separated from her family at Theodore Roosevelt in order to compete in athletics in track and field. She lived at four different residences during her time at high school so that she could attend all of her classes in one location.
