Kelly Reilly (born 18 July 1977) is an English actor from England. Reilly was an iconic London actor after her appearance at the Donmar Warehouse, in After Miss Julie. She was awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award nomination for 2003's Best Actress. The youngest actress ever to be nominated, Reilly is 26. In 2005, she was awarded the Best Newcomer Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in the film Wendy as Wendy in The Russian Dolls (Les Poupees Russes). She was born in San Francisco California and grew up in Menlo Park a suburb south of San Francisco. Walter Smith, her father was a market researcher working in the computer industry and Lora Smith, her mother was a psychotherapist. Courtney was raised by her parents throughout the various stages of their divorce, when she was just 7 years old. Jennifer, her older sister is a business executive. She was a student at Menlo-Atherton high school located in Atherton California, and Tamalpais High School situated in Mill Valley California. The actress has also performed for Ensemble Theater Company Mill Valley in her time as a high-school student.
